Satisfies : One Science with Lab Tuition : $400- To be paid $200 per semester- A $25 non-refundable deposit required upon registration that is taken off your first semester payment.
Lab Fee: $25 lab fee per student- this pays for dissections, labs, etc.
Time: Wednesdays, 1:00-2:10
Description: A one (1)-credit high school course, exploring the wonders of God’s creation through biology and anatomy. Our studies will include general biology concepts, scientific method and research, lab experimentation and dissection, as well as introductions to classification, cellular anatomy, genetics, etc.
About the Instructor: Mrs. Smith earned her bachelor’s degree in Education at Auburn University. She has 13 years of teaching experience in grades K-10 th and 7 years homeschooling her own children. The last 5 years, Mrs. Smith has been teaching 7th grade Life Science, Biology and most recently ASL at Excelsior Homeschool Co-op. One of the things she loves about teaching is seeing kids get excited about science. Mrs. Smith looks forward every year to partnering with the parents to educate their children and help foster a love of learning. She is very excited about joining Evangel Tutorials this year!
