We have created this particular webpage just for the ECS Class of 2024. We hope that this page will answer most, if not all, of your questions to make your senior year go smoothly.
ECS administration and the ECS school board are praying for you throughout this special final year of your high school career. It is our prayer that your senior year in high school is a year that brings you closer to our Savior and that, through His Holy Spirit, you will be encouraged in everything you do and experience to celebrate His goodness, mercy, and grace. Furthermore, we pray that you can share that encouragement with your classmates, parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, neighbors, and all those God brings into your life. To His Glory!

The first item of business, every senior must complete the following two forms no later than the deadlines listed below:
- Senior Graduation Form Deadline: October 1, 2023
- Senior Information and Picture Submission Form Deadline: December 1, 2023
Senior Portraits
- We are blessed to have Time Capsule Images as our school and senior portrait photographer.
- Time Capsule will take your portraits at their office located at 3000 Riverchase Galleria, Suite 375 (3rd floor/lobby), Hoover, AL 35244.
- All available appointment times for your senior portraits are in August, so click here to make your appointment now.
- NOTES:
- Your graduation fee covers your portrait sitting fee. However, additional Digital and Photo packages are available for purchase. Time Capsule will discuss these options with you.
- Only portraits taken by Time Capsule Images will appear in the Evangel Christian School yearbook, on the screen at the graduation ceremony, and in the newspapers.

- Attire: Formal
- Cost: $95 per person. Each ECS junior and senior may invite one guest. You will receive a ‘save-the-date’ with more details as the event approaches.

- Dress code: Dressy-casual. No shorts or T-shirts.
- Other information: ECS and the junior class will host the senior banquet. The cost is included in the Complete Senior Fee (Plan A). Seniors and senior parents will receive an exclusive invitation to this evening, set aside to honor them. Seniors will also provide the entertainment for this special evening, so think about how you might want to participate in this portion of the banquet (such as singing, dancing, doing a skit or drama, playing an instrument, giving a testimony, etc.). This banquet is only for seniors and parents. We are unable to accommodate extended family, siblings, or guests.

- The enrolling parents (as listed on the 2023-2024 Enrollment Form (or Senior Graduation Form, if you indicate changes) of each ECS graduate will present their graduate with their diploma during the Evangel Christian School graduation ceremony. Graduates with a parent living outside the home who is not held responsible by ECS for the child's education (i.e., not listed as an enrolling parent on the ECS enrollment form) are welcome to attend the ceremony. Still, they will not participate in the presentation of diplomas.

ACT or SAT Registration
A Transcript Distribution Request Form must be completed for a transcript to be sent to colleges. Please allow seven (7) days from the office’s receipt of the Transcript Distribution Request Form. Final Senior Grades Due
- The October test is the last ACT and SAT score for National Homeschool Honor Society eligibility.

Final Senior Grades Due
- When: Wednesday, May 15, 2024
- Other important information: ALL senior grades must be turned in to the ECS office by this date. Failure to do so will result in a diploma being held. If any classes still need to be completed, the course teacher should send an email to the office verifying that the student is not in danger of failing the class. The final grade must be submitted before a final transcript can be provided.
