New Testament Survey (1 Bible or Elective Credit)

Time: Thursdays, 9:00am-10:30am
Course Description: This in-depth course is all about seeing the ancient Scripture in a new light. Even long-time Christians tend to be surprised, inspired, and challenged as we plunge into things like Greek vocab, historical context, and literary genre. As a student, you will engage in class discussions, listen to lectures, watch videos, create art, and, most importantly, learn what it means to apprentice under Jesus.

Nathan is a pastor, therapist, and teacher. He started out in ministry at The Church at Brook Hills and now preaches every Sunday at Birmingham Chinese Christian Church. Additionally, he works as a counselor in clinical mental health. This will be his third year teaching at ECS. He holds degrees from Samford (B.A. in History), UAB (M.A. in Counseling), and SEBTS (M.Div. in Christian Ministry) and loves getting to know students on a personal level.
