Psychology (1 Science or Elective Credit)
Tuition: $500 total
Time: Thursdays, 10:30am-12:00pm
Course Description: I'm psyched to teach this course again! It's all about diving into the life of the mind. In this sweeping introduction to the field, you will get to see a little bit of everything. From dusting off historical characters like Freud and Jung to unpacking ultra-modern neuroscientific research, this is a riveting way to earn a high school science credit. You will walk away with a strong grasp of terminology and major theories, but my passion is also to help you in practical ways. It is my prayer that this course will help you find clarity, increase motivation, strengthen relationships, and develop your personality.
Instructor: Nathan Graham (Register at [email protected])
Nathan is a pastor, therapist, and teacher. He started out in ministry at The Church at Brook Hills and now preaches every Sunday at Birmingham Chinese Christian Church. Additionally, he works as a licensed counselor in clinical mental health. This will be his fourth year teaching at ECS. He holds degrees from Samford (B.A. in History), UAB (M.A. in Counseling), and SEBTS (M.Div. in Christian Ministry).
